A new logo after 40 years!

Its ghastly! Just damn ugly if you ask me.... Sack the designer, I say! LOL.
I wonder how much the designer was paid for changing the font, removing the apostrophe, a minor colour change and adding a sub text?

Me too. Usually these corporates pay a fortune for this kind of thing, and Pick 'n Pay is not short of money either. Its turnover for the year to February was R39.34 billion. That's a lot in South Africa, although in dollars, that would be just $5.88 billion. So I am sure the designer milked as much as possible.

I remember another instance where a huge construction company here paid several hundred thousand rands to a designer to change its logo. All the designer did was make very minor alterations to the existing logo.

Nice work if you can get it!

I actually found the cost of the new logo. R110 million. REALLY good work if you can get it. [grin]

Oh well done on your research! R100 million! That would be roughly $14.9 million.

Where can I sign up for that job?
