How can any freedom-loving country want to participate in these Olympics, thereby giving tacit consent to the country's awful human rights record? China is one of the most anti-democratic, oppressive countries around. Iraq was invaded, but China is supported - perhaps someone can explain the logic to me? I say boycott the games. Don't give support to a barbaric government.
